AVI ABELOW: Biden-Harris are complicit in the death of Hersh Goldberg-Polin

In the wake of the recent tragedy where six Israeli hostages were found executed at point-blank range, the world must confront a painful reality: the Biden/Harris administration bears a significant part of the responsibility for these deaths, including the death of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, a US citizen. These hostages were discovered in a tunnel beneath Rafah, a city that the Biden/Harris government had persistently warned Israel against entering for months. Had Biden/Harris supported Israel’s efforts to penetrate this critical location to destroy Hamas, it’s tunnels and it’s smuggling network, it’s plausible that these hostages could have been freed alive by Israel months ago. Instead, the Biden/Harris administration’s interference and warnings to Israel have directly contributed to the continued captivity of Israelis in Gaza and to the death of these recent captives, including a US citizen.

The tragic irony here is stark. The Netanyahu government and Israel’s military, in its determined effort to locate and rescue the hostages, were impeded by the Biden/Harris administration. By literally threatening Israel from entering Rafah, including by withholding Congress-approved weapons, the actions of the Biden/Harris administration essentially enabled Hamas to continue their brutal campaign without giving Israel any chance of saving the captives held in the Rafah tunnels. The recent murder of a US citizen, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, by Hamas should serve as a wake-up call to the freedom-loving American people. The inaction and appeasing policies of the Biden/Harris administration not only jeopardized Israeli lives but have now claimed the life of a US citizen as well.

If the Biden/Harris administration had any integrity, now is a good time for this administration to reassess its approach. Instead of pressuring Israel to appease Hamas, the Biden/Harris administration must stand in unequivocal support of Israel’s right to protect its citizens and to take all necessary actions to destroy Hamas and save all the remaining captives. The insistence on negotiating with Hamas, using Qatar and Egypt as intermediaries, as if they were legitimate partners in peace, is not only misguided but dangerous. Qatar is complicit in funding Hamas, while it is known that Egypt allowed Hamas to dig and use a network of tunnels to smuggle weapons and rockets into Gaza, for military use against Israel. Both Qatar and Egypt are directly complicit in the arming and empowerment of Hamas, and it is a strategic mistake to continue treating them as neutral mediators, a misguided act that only emboldens Hamas and other enemies of Israel and America.

The Biden/Harris administration’s pressure on Israel to make dangerous concessions to Hamas plays directly into the hands of Hamas, allowing them to continue their campaign of terror. It is crucial for Biden/Harris administration to cease these harmful pressures and instead support Israel’s strategic decisions to ensure the safety of its citizens. From day one, the Biden/Harris administration should have placed all the pressure on Iran, Qatar, Egypt and Hamas for them to surrender and free all of the remaining captives, not on Israel.

If the Biden/Harris administration had truly cared about ending the war and freeing the Israeli captives in Gaza, they would have granted Israel the freedom to carry out military operations that are essential for neutralizing the threat posed by Hamas, causing them to surrender, and ensuring that no further violence is inflicted upon Israeli citizens.

It is vital for the international community, especially democratic nations like the United States, to recognize the gravity of the situation. The moral responsibility of supporting a nation under siege is paramount. The Biden/Harris administration must stop its attempts to force Israel into appeasement and instead back Israel’s right to crush Hamas until it begs for surrender and frees our captives. This is not just about international diplomacy; it’s about standing on the right side of history.

If the Biden/Harris administration continues its current course, prioritizing diplomatic negotiations over effective military action against Hamas, it will have serious implications for its moral standing. No American, and certainly no Jew, should support a Biden or Harris leadership that fails to stand firmly against the genocidal demands of Hamas and that pressures an ally to make concessions that endanger lives of the side that is standing up against the evil of an Islamic jihadi enemy. Supporting or voting for a Democratic White House with Biden or Harris leadership, that compromises with genocidal terror entities and fails to support the actions necessary to protect innocent lives of free democratic countries, is not only morally indefensible but also an affront to the values of justice and security that underpin democratic societies.

The Biden/Harris administration’s failure to support Israel effectively and its misguided attempts to negotiate with entities complicit in terrorism have directly contributed to the suffering and deaths of Israeli hostages, and the destabilization of the whole Middle East. They must rectify their approach, cease its pressure on Israel to appease Hamas and instead offer complete support for Israel’s efforts to destroy Hamas in Gaza to end their terror threat to Israeli society. The time for moral clarity is now, and it is imperative that democratic nations stand firmly against terror and support their democratic allies in the fight for justice and security against the growing Islamic jihad that is first going for the Saturday people before setting their sights on terrorizing the Sunday people around the freedom-loving world as well. If Americans want to save America from the coming tsunami of Islamic jihad in America, they must stand strong and support Israel and the Jewish people, because Israel is the frontline of the freedom-loving world against the growing Islamic jihad worldwide.

Nine US Senators Launch Inquiry Into Kamala Harris’ Failure As ‘Broadband Czar’

Nine US Senators Launch Inquiry Into Kamala Harris’ Failure As ‘Broadband Czar’

FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr criticized the Biden-Harris administration, pointing out that their $42.45 billion program to bring high-speed internet to rural America has yet to connect a single person. He said it had been 1,038 days, and “not a single person has been connected” since the program debuted.

Carr on X pushed out a post in the early afternoon of Wednesday featuring a new letter from nine US senators, including Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), stressing concern about VP Harris’ time as ‘broadband czar’ entirely mismanaged the $42.45 billion program to connect rural America. Considering that not a single home in rural America has been connected, the senators warned that the failures are piling up for VP Harris, citing her failure as ‘border czar.’

Dear Vice President Harris:

We are writing to express serious concerns regarding your role as the Biden-Harris administration’s “broadband czar” and the mismanagement of federal broadband initiatives under your leadership. It appears that your performance as “broadband czar” has mirrored your performance as “border czar,” marked by poor management and a lack of effectiveness despite significant federal broadband investments and your promises to deliver broadband to rural areas.

As you are aware, Congress, through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, provided the National Telecommunications and Information Administration with $42.45 billion for the Broadband, Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program. These funds are intended to provide broadband access to unserved communities, particularly those in rural areas.

In 2021, you were specifically tasked by President Biden to lead the administration’s efforts to expand broadband services to unserved Americans. And at the time, you stated, “we can bring broadband to rural America today.” Despite your assurances over three years ago, rural and unserved communities continue to wait for the connectivity they were promised. Under your leadership, not a single person has been connected to the internet using the $42.45 billion allocated for the BEAD program. Indeed, Politico recently reported on “the messy, delayed rollout of” this program.

Instead of focusing on delivering broadband services to unserved areas, your administration has used the BEAD program to add partisan, extralegal requirements that were never envisioned by Congress and have obstructed broadband deployment. By imposing burdensome climate change mandates on infrastructure projects, prioritizing government-owned networks over private investment, mandating the use of unionized labor in states, and seeking to regulate broadband rates, your administration has caused unnecessary delays leaving millions of Americans unconnected.

The administration’s lack of focus on truly connecting the unconnected has failed the American people and represents a gross misuse of limited taxpayer dollars. The American public deserves better.

‘All-In’ podcast host Jason Calacanis recently said, “Our government is corrupt and stealing our money. United airlines just put Starlink on 1,000+ planes, but the FCC claims we need to spend 5-10k per rural home for wired connections?!? These homes are putting starlink in on their nickel while they wait for a cable modem in 10 years — wtf??? Pure corruption or insane stupidity — you decide!”

Carr recently chimed in and said Elon Musk’s Starlink offered the FCC a secured commitment of $1,300 per household for 640,000 rural locations. He said in 2023, the federal government rejected Starlink and decided to spend $100,000 per location.

Musk said Wednesday that the FCC rejected Starlink because of “lawfare.”

Here’s what X users are saying about an inefficient and what appears to be a ‘corruption’ within the Biden-Harris admin:

Good question.
