23-year-old Colombian ‘hitwoman’ called ‘The Doll’ arrested over multiple murders including her ex

A 23-year-old Colombian “hitwoman” known as “The Doll” has been arrested over several murders including that of her ex-boyfriend.

Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodriguez, known to police as “La Muneca,” is considered a “dangerous hitwoman” who is “suspected of being the most feared assassin in Santander,” per the Daily Mail.

Spanish media reported on Thursday that Rodriguez was arrested over her alleged involvement in a series of high-profile gang-related murders thought to be carried out under the command of the Los de la M gang. Rodriguez herself has been accused of being in charge of a network of other hitmen. Police arrested two other accomplices alongside Rodriguez, one of them with the alias Leopaldo, and said they seized high-grade weapons during their operation.
“With the capture of alias La Muñeca and alias Leopaldo, a period of calm has been created in the region,” Lieutenant Colonel Mauricio Herrera stated. “These arrests mark progress in the dismantling of criminal structures responsible for the recent homicides.”

The hitwoman’s ex-boyfriend Deyve Jesus was one of her alleged victims. He was ambushed and assassinated on July 23. Earlier in the day he had received a call from Rodriguez begging him to meet up with her to resolve a dispute over money. He was instead gunned down by two men on motorcycles. Authorities believe Rodriguez ordered the hit herself.
