S&P Futures are trading slightly lower this morning with the pause in implementations of tariffs remaining the key headline. The key here is that it allows countries the opportunity to negotiate trade barriers ahead of any tariff action being implemented. Later this morning there are economic reports on Retail Sales and Industrial Production. ABNB, DKNG, FROG, GT, ROKU & WYNN are all higher after releasing their earnings reports. Monday is a holiday, on Tuesday morning watch for earnings from BIDU, FLR, GPC & MDT. The House Budget Committee passed a Budget Resolution and it will not go to the full House for a vote. Hong Kong markets surged as China’s President is meeting with business leaders in an effort to expand growth. Oil prices are moving higher as tariff announcements are delayed.

S&P Futures are flat to higher as markets awaits the Non-Farms Payrolls data. AMZN released positive earnings last night, stock is lower due to guidance coming in below expectations mainly due to the stronger dollar. AFRM, EXPE, HLT, PINS & TTWO are all moving higher after their announcements. President Trump is meeting with the Prime Minster of Japan today, markets are expecting news of a Trump call with China’s President XI. This morning markets will likely react to the Non- Farms Payrolls report. Oil prices are down due to the API inventory data which indicated a build in inventories.

S&P Futures are flat to higher. Last night’s earnings reports were not impressive, QCOM, ARM, F & SWKS are all moving lower after their announcements. Trade tensions and the lawmaker’s action on the budget reconciliation bill will continue to poise risk for the markets. HON announced that it will be splitting up into 3 separate companies. This morning markets will likely react to economic reports on Preliminary Productivity and Costs for 4Q and the Weekly Jobless Claims data. Oil prices are down due to the API inventory data which indicated a build in inventories.

S&P Futures are showing gains this morning due to another round of tech earnings. AAPL, V, KLAC & INTC are higher after earnings reports. Next week we have earnings reports from PLTR, PFE PEP MRK, AMGN, AMD, GOOG, DIS UBER QCOM BABA HON & AMZN. President Trump is expected to announce tariffs on Canada and Mexico tomorrow. Commodity-related stocks are in focus today. Before the opening bell today, the personal-consumption expenditures price index is due out. European markets are slightly higher and oil prices are slightly lower.

S&P Futures are showing gains this morning as earnings roll in. IBM, TSLA & META are higher after earnings reports. After the bell today INTL, KLAC, V & AAPL are scheduled to report. Fed indicates that they are in no rush to cut rates and remains data dependent, a march cut appears unlikely at this time. GDP & Jobless Claims reports are the key economic reports for this morning. Banks, Semis and retail sectors are displaying positive action in the pre-market. European markets are higher ahead of this morning ECB announcement and oil prices are climbing moving from red to green.
